ASSESS Initiative

ASSESS Launches Membership Program

The ASSESS Initiative was formed to bring together key players, both users and developers of simulation software, to guide and influence the software tool strategies for performing model-based analysis, simulation, and systems engineering. The ASSESS Initiative vision is “To significantly expand the use and benefit of software tools for model-based analysis, simulation, and systems engineering in the engineering applications domain.”

The ASSESS Initiative is proud to announce the launch of the ASSESS Initiative Membership Program that will be open for membership enrollment early 2018. Early Adopter enrollment is open to ASSESS 2017 Congress attendees and ASSESS Advisory Committee members.

The ASSESS Membership program will provide the ability for the ASSESS initiative to expand its efforts beyond the annual congress and will provide a range of benefits to the members as follows:

Access to all ASSESS initiative “deliverable documents” at no charge, including

Datakit

Datakit announces the version 2017.4 of its CAD conversion tools

The latest update of Datakit’s CAD data exchange software range is now available!

This new version of CrossManager, CrossCad/Plg and CrossCad/Ware adds new improvements to Datakit’s interfaces.
Datakit’s applications now support the conversion of Solid Edge ST10 files and ACIS binary format (.sab) which is added to .sat and .asat files already supported.

This version also benefits from the constant improvement of the dozens of CAD converters provided by Datakit. Indeed, they are maintained constantly, in order to improve their quality and to process new entities, while optimizing the execution time.

Solid Edge ST10 files conversion with CrossManager

CrossManager also benefits from new combinations available: conversion from IFC files to IGES, Parasolid, COLLADA, 3MF and ACIS files.

Users wanting to try Datakit software can download it and get a trial license on CrossManager and CrossCad/Plg official pages.

Software vendors interested in CrossCad/Ware, the API enabling them to integrate Datakit technology in their own applications, can visit the API description page and contact Datakit to get information relevant to their activity.
